Our roots go back to a family-owned Krispy Kreme franchise in Springfield, where founder Sydney Simpson cut her teeth on real marketing (and the occasional fresh-glazed donut) — the kind where you're accountable for actual results, not just likes, to keep doors open.
She grew their social platforms significantly by focusing on what still drives everything we do today: genuine connection.
After earning her degree in marketing management and watching a startup agency treat clients like afterthoughts, Sydney launched January Social Co. in 2022 with a clear mission: to build a marketing agency that cares for both the people behind a business and their profit.
The name “January Social” represents both the personal milestones that shaped Sydney's resilience and the new year, fresh-start energy every business deserves when they're ready to take their marketing seriously.
